Dwayne Bacon
Hi, im Dwayne Bacon and im from Lakeland Florida. I am into Drake and Basketball of course. My FSU life is pretty fun i am a freshman and i play basketball for Florida State. I start in my first year and i average 17 points a game. I currently dont have a major but im looking to get into either sports medicine or business. What im looking to the most this semester is really just being done with my freshman year and making all-academics team.
Malik Beasley
I am Malik Beasley, and I was born and pretty much raised in Atlanta. I lived and still live in the northern part of Atlanta, like Alpharetta, GA. My favorite things to do in my free time would play basketball, workout, eat, and sleep. Growing up my dad played basketball professionally so I always around basketball. I actually do play basketball for FSU. I am extremely blessed to be apart of this program and this wonderful school full with tradition. I also love doing community service to help out the areas of Atlanta and Tallahassee. Besides always practicing and working out, my main focus is school work, where I am majoring in business and finance. Hopefully if i go play professional basketball I can be able to manage my money well and understand the whole business type of life. Speaking of life, if you always see me smiling and is happy/hyper, I am always glad to be alive and healthy.
Mariah Boucher
Hi, my name is Mariah Boucher and I am from Pensacola, Florida. My hobbies would include laying out on beaches, listening to music, drawing, writing, and reading. As far as school goes, well my life had just started at FSU in the fall. It has been quite an adventure living away from home, and living the life of a seminole. I have come to the conclusion that FSU is a wonderful college, but the things I would do to be five years old again and taking naps in Kindergarden. Life was so simple was so simple as a kid, and being an adult is not fun.
Symone Cyrus
I’m from South Florida, the Fort Lauderdale/Miami area to be exact. I’m a freshman at FSU and the experience has been amazing so far. I’m really into journaling, photography and filmmaking. All three activities have a way of storytelling that a really like and will definitely help with this class. It’s a major passion of mine but I also love the environment so that is why I am studying to become an environmental engineer.
Larissa De La Rosa
I am from somewhere most of you have never heard of and all thought I lived there majority of my life it still isn't where I am originally from. I lived in Lehigh Acres, Florida most of my life which because I know you've never heard of it maybe saying the Fort Myers area will ring a bell? Where Plies is from? Before moving to Lehigh, I lived on the Immokalee Seminole Indian Reservation, which is in South West Florida. I am into a variety of things. Dancing and reading would have to be the most entertaining things as well as watching sports. I am actually majoring in exercise science so that eventually I can work with a sports team. My love for dance is the reason I am really excited for this semester, I am taking a dance class and auditioning for the Golden Girls! I am also very determined to make it on the Dean's List this Semester!
Morgan Fratto
My name is Morgan Fratto. I am from Pensacola, Florida and I am currently double majoring in Mathematics and Education at FSU. My life on campus includes listening to music while reading a good book. Similarly, when I am visiting home, I am at the beach with my music and books. I also studied Latin for four years in high school and was an active participant in the Latin Club for those four years, as well.

My name is Justin and I am from West Palm Beach Florida. I enjoy spending times outdoors camping and hiking, as well as playing videogames and watching movies. I can’t exactly say how my life is like at FSU so far, because I have only just transferred in the spring semester. I’m currently a marketing major and hope to double major or minor in economics. I’m very excited to start the new semester and work with everyone.
Princess Gafaru
My name is Princess Gafaru and I am a freshman here at FSU. Both my parents are Nigerian but I am from Miramar, Florida, which is right outside of Miami. My major is Public Relations with a minor in Hospitality. I love watching movies and TV, some of my favorites are The Avengers, Jane the Virgin, and Master of None. My favorite form of social media is Twitter. I also love the color black, Marvel Superheroes, reading, shopping, and Drake. I also love to travel, and try to do it as often as possible.
Faith Harris
My name is Faith Harris. I am a biology major who is interested in zoological sciences or ecology. I am originally from Colorado Springs, Colorado, but moved to Wesley Chapel, Florida in my sophomore year. I am interested in the Star Wars trilogies as well as the Lord of the Ring trilogy. I love to play Legend of Zelda, specifically Link Between Worlds. I used to do pointe ballet until I recently had scoliosis surgery. I now enjoy less strenuous sports, such as yoga. I am most excited this semester about starting classes for my major rather than just prerequisites.
Nolan Hernandez
I was born in Crown Point, Indiana on March 8th, 1997. I lived the first few years of my life there attending preschool and kindergarten. When I was seven my family decided it was time to move to Florida in order to be closer to my Grandparents. We moved to Ormond Beach and have lived there ever since. From a young age I’ve always loved playing video games and listening to music. Playing the piano is a hobby of mine that I never plan on giving up. I haven’t figured out what I want to study here at Florida State and during this semester I plan on getting a better understanding on how I can study what I am interested.

I am currently a first year student at the Florida State university, and my hometown is Jacksonville, FL. My involvement on campus includes being a part of Gamma Phi Beta sorority, Dance Marathon, and representing the VS Pink brand. You can find me progressing on my current Netflix binge, or studying at Strozier. I look forward to all of the opportunities my future holds here at the university.
Tyler Holton
Hello my name is Tyler. I am from Tallahassee, Florida. I like outdoor activities as well as an occasional lazy day watching Netflix. I listen to all kinds of music but primarily country. Since coming to FSU my life has gotten a whole lot busier. I love the freedom college brings as well as the responsibilities needed to live on my own. After a recent change my new major is Sports Management. I play baseball for FSU for the noles and the season is what I'm most excited for this semester.
Kody Horvath
Hey my name is Kody and I'm from Port St. Lucie, Florida. It's a growing city on the treasure coast and right in the middle of every major city. I'm into a lot of things; I don't really have one major interest. I love all genres of music (Lady Gaga) and working on my car. I also like spending time with my friends. I came into FSU with my A.A. as a freshman and it was a little tough at first trying to figure out whom I talk to because of my situation, but I have since figured it all out. At FSU I'm involved in my fraternity Lambda Alpha Epsilon (LAE) that is the frat for criminology and criminal justice. I also am double majoring in Computer Criminology and IT.
Robert Jackson
My name is Robert Jackson. I am originally from Columbia, South Carolina and moved here to Tallahassee from Jacksonville, Florida. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and just getting out of the house, or dorm. I also enjoy playing soccer and running track, though I no longer play or run for established teams, and I enjoy watching Netflix and going to the gym. I began my college career here at Florida State in the summer of 2015 and have enjoyed it ever since. I am currently a Finance major with a minor in international relations and hope to get more serious with photography along the way. As for involvement, I currently serve on Florida State’s 68th Student Senate in an undergraduate seat and plan to become more involved with the Black Student Union and as time goes on would like to become more involved on campus.
Leila Johnston
My name is Leila Johnston and I’m originally from Kuching, Malaysia, but I spent the majority of my childhood and teenage years on a small island just off the coast of Maine, known as Mount Desert Island. Mount Desert Island (MDI) is best known for being the home to Acadia National Park. Summers on the island were always chaotic due to of the large numbers of tourists that the National Park produced, but the winters were consistently very cold and nearly empty without all of the tourists. I’m a member of Women’s Swim Team here at FSU. Being part of a team has been a great experience thus far and has helped make the adjustment to my first year of college a relatively smooth process. I am currently an Exploratory major, but I am planning on having psychology as my chosen major at the end of the semester.

I am currently majoring in sports managment and minoring in business. I play basketball for Florida State so my life can get really busy at times.
Yukoan Myers
My name is Yukoan Myers and whenever I'm asked "Where are you from?" I never know how to answer. I was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida but I know absolutely nothing about the place. As a marine-brat I moved around a lot so I don't really know where I'm from. I graduated from high school in San Diego and, after moving again, started attending Florida State shortly after. I enjoy hiking, traveling, reading and watching anything from YouTube videos to Netflix series. I love House of Cards, Grey's Anatomy and foreign films. When I had a TV I watched Jeopardy, reality shows and almost any show on the History, Travel or CNN channels. As of right now, I 'm an exploratory major who has yet to join an organization here on campus.
Donovan Petrey
Hello my name is Donovan Petrey and I am from Port Charlotte, a small town in southern Florida. I went to Port Charlotte High School where I was inducted into the Senior Hall of Fame my senior year. This is a club that only 35 to 40 seniors get into. I am a sports management major and hope to one day work for a major league sports team or possibly play major league baseball. I also play baseball at FSU. I am most excited about this semester because baseball season officially starts and we will actually play games against other people other than us.
Cal Raleigh
Hello everyone, I am Caleb Raleigh but everyone calls me Cal. I am from the mountains of Cullowhee, North Carolina. I'm on the baseball team here at Florida State and that makes my college life pretty busy and tough sometimes but I couldn't imagine it being any other way. Besides baseball, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, ping pong, video games, and playing pickup basketball with my roommates. I still am undecided about my major and am keeping my options open.

FIrst off, my name is Hunter Rodriguez. Now I know this may sound strange to you due to the extreme cultural difference between the first and last name. I literally have the whitest first name in the world probably, and the most Hispanic last name. See I'm from Miami, Florida or how people say I pronounce it MIYAMMIIIII and since everyone in Miami has the last name Rodriguez, she thought it would be a good idea to give me a first and last name that no one else had. Thanks mom. My FSU life has been amazing so far. I had an idea what college would be like but I had no idea it would be this great. The beautiful women, the endless drinks and the beautiful campus, how can you not love it?! oh yeah and the education thing is cool too.
Cole Sands
Hi guys, My name is Cole Sands and I am from Tallahssee, FL. I enjoy being in the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, and chilling with my friends are some of the things I also enjoy. Sports are a big part of my life. I like playing pick up basketball at the leach and playing golf with friends and roommates. I play baseball for FSU which was a dream come true for me. I always wanted to play baseball for my hometown and it finally happen. Playing baseball can make my life pretty busy between school, sports, and social life but I wouldnt trade it for anything else.
Mario Torres
Hi, I’m Mario Torres and I’m from Panama City, here in Florida. I enjoy listening to music and watching movies and TV shows. I recently finished watching My Name is Earl and The legend of Kora, two well received shows. For movies, I most recently watched Trainwreck and Star Wars VII. I mostly listen to blues and rock music. Because of my interest in music, I participate in the blues band here on campus, which is part of the world music program in the college of music. I enjoy artists old and new. Some of my old favorites are Stevie Ray Vaughan, Freddie King, Jimi Hendrix, and Buddy Guy. Some of my newer more relevant favorites are John Mayer and Gary Clark Jr. I am also a criminology major with interests in white collar crime.
Brett Uselton
Let me introduce myself. My name is Brett Uselton and I'm from Palmetto, Florida which is located 45 minutes south of Tampa. There I live on a private island called Snead Island. Often I find myself eating, going to the gym, fishing or just hanging out with friends. Also my life would be different if I wasn't a die hard Buccaneers fan. Im one of those kids who has fox news on TV but listening to rebelution in the background. Just chillin but being productive. As for school im a freshman at Florida State University where I plan on getting my business management degree. I want to get involved with the Republican party student organization and the Florida state fishing team. Low key im a professional fisherman and have won many tournaments around the world.

Hello! My name is Valentina and I'm a freshman at Florida State University. I’m originally from Bogota, Colombia but I grew up in Weston, Florida. I’m currently double majoring in Hospitality and Business management. This is my first semester at FSU so I’m not a part of any club or organization yet. I plan to join a sorority but I’m not sure if I’ll rush this semester or wait until next fall semester. I also want to join the Pre-Vet club and French club. I absolutely adore animals and I have been a vegetarian for 3 years.
